Magninsta™, LLC will continue to use Magnesive™ technology to develop future products within the fasteners and locking industry. For fasteners, the Company will continue to develop invisible fasteners that simplify assembly across applications. For locks, the Company is working on keyless versions of M-A-Dlocks that use biometrics. Magninsta™ also plans to manufacture reliable, robust alternatives and replacements for the existing deadbolts, knob locks, cam locks, lever handle locks, and smart locks using the same magnetic technology.
A two-piece fastener comprised of two frames and a rotatable pivot arm hinged onto the frames that magnetically interlock panels at 90°.
Assemble in three simple steps:
Disassemble by rotating the magnetic pivot arm back 90° and disengaging the panels. The frames can be recessed with covers for a concealed look or surface mounted. Assembly is completely tool free after initial installation.

A three-piece fastener comprised of a Block, Insert, and a Lock that magnetically interlocks panels at 90°. Assemble panels by simply sliding the Insert into the Block frame and inserting the Lock with protruding magnetic pins into the cavities of the mating Block where the Insert sits. The Lock has a slot that holds the Insert and keeps the two conjoining panels connected.
Disassemble by simply pulling out the Lock and disengaging the connection. Fastener is surface mounted, and assembly and disassembly are tool free after initial installation. The dowel pins that are inserted into cavities on the mating frame makes the connection durable, sturdy, and secure.
A three-piece fastener comprised of a Slider, a Bottom Casing, and a Top Casing. The latching process is executed by simply inserting the Slider inside the cavity of the Casings. The magnets in the Top Casing and the Slider bias the thicker portion of the Slider into a locking step inside the cavity of the Casing.
To unlock, simply rotate the Dial on the Top Casing by 180° which reverses the magnetic polarity and disengages the Slider from the Casing as also the conjoining panels.
A two-piece fastener comprised of a Bottom Casing, and a Top Casing. Latching occurs by simply sliding the Top Casing into the Bottom Casing. The magnets in the Top and Bottom Casing oppose each other due to their positioning but because they are diametrically magnetized, they readjust polarity by automatically rotating 180° activating the attraction force.
To unlock, simply rotate the Dial on the Top Casing by 180° which reverses polarity and disengages the Casings as also the conjoining panels.
Magnetic shelf support which uses the magnetic straight and reverse polarity concepts to hold shelf panels. Two-piece shelf support comprising of a Vertical Bracket and a Horizontal Holder. Locking occurs by simply pushing the shelf panel downwards onto the Vertical Bracket attached to the side wall. The magnets in the Vertical Bracket and the Horizontal Holder are positioned to attract and click together to secure the shelf panel to its side walls.
To reposition the shelf to a different height, the Dial on the Vertical Bracket is rotated 180° activating magnetic repulsion, and effectively disengaging the shelf panel from its side wall. The shelf support is ideally sized and is suitable for 0.75in (19mm) thick shelf panels and 0.5in (12.7mm) thick shelf side wall panels.
A three-piece sleep design comprised of a Magnetic Casing, a Magnetic Hand Tool, and an Insert. The magnetic hand tool connects with the metal bolt attached to the pin inside the Magnetic Casing and engages it in a linear movement back and forth for locking and unlocking mechanisms.
A three-piece fastener comprised of a Dowel, a Threaded Insert, and a Magnetic Button which interlocks panels in three simple steps. The Dowel has a unique base profile which aligns with the locking step along the diameter of the Threaded Insert. Locking can be executed by inserting the Dowel into the magnetic Threaded Insert and rotating it to arrest its upward movement via the locking step in the Threaded Insert. The conjoining panel is then placed over the Dowel and is secured to the other panel with the help of the Magnetic Button that is inserted into the overlapping Dowel opening. Unlock the connection by simply pulling out the Magnetic Button which connects the Dowel and the Threaded Insert attached to the panels in use.
Fastener comprising of an Insert, a Cylindrical Housing, and a Magnetic Lock which magnetically interlocks panels in two simple steps. Assemble panels by simply sliding the Insert into the Cylindrical Housing and inserting the Magnetic Lock into the cavities of the mating Housing where the Insert sits. The Magnetic Lock has a slot that holds the Insert and keeps the two conjoining panels connected. The Lock and Housing have overlapping magnets that keep the connection secure. Disassemble by simply pulling out the Lock and disengaging the connection.
Magnetic Dowel which is an alternative to traditional wooden dowels. Two-piece compact design comprising of a Steel Dowel and a Magnetic Insert. Available in various sizes same as wooden dowels.
Invisible Magnetic Fastener comprising of a Dowel and a Magnetic Insert which interlocks panels in two easy steps. The Dowel has a unique base profile which aligns with the locking step along the diameter of the Magnetic Insert. Locking can be executed by inserting Dowel into the Magnetic Insert. The Dowel is attracted to the magnet in the Insert after which the Insert is rotated to arrest the Dowel’s movement in its locking step. Unlock the connection by simply rotating the Magnetic Insert again to disengage the Dowel profile. Magnetic Insert and Dowel together act as a pin and lock, no need for additional screws, nails, brackets, or cams.
With Magninsta™, padlocks can no longer be picked easily nor malfunction. Personal property can now be secured using its fool-proof locking solutions, which provide a high level of security unmatched by regular keyed, combination, or smart locks. At present, Magninsta™ has one variant of lock, a padlock referred to as the M-A-DLock™ (Magnetically Assisted Device). Future products under the locking solutions line will include replacements for doorknobs, deadbolts, among others.
